Sewer Project Updates

12/11/2011

1. Phase II construction is mostly complete and final inspections are continuing. These inspections require access to the electrical panel(s) inside the house. If you have not yet been contacted for this final walk-through, please contact Scott Dolphin with the BLRWPCA at (860) 649-8066 extension 126 to schedule a time. We appreciate all the cooperation we have received thus far during this process. Phase II home owners will be contacted in the next few months as to the 2012 schedule for connecting to the system and abandoning the septic tanks.

2. Phase III main lines are in on Tolland Road, the first section of Plymouth Road, High Meadow, and Sunset. Grinder pumps are now being installed on these streets. Over the next 12 months Phase III residents will receive additional information requests as the construction progresses. One of these requests will be to gain entry into the homes in order to make the electrical connections. In order to facilitate these requests we ask you to provide us with a contact number. Please submit your name, property address, and a contact telephone number to Scott Dolphin at (860) 649-8066 ext 126.

3. Phase IV grinder pump easement agreements are due to be sent out in the first few months of 2012. These forms, instructions, and informational sheets are required to be completed and returned prior to construction of phase IV. A return date when these documents are to be delivered to the Town of Bolton Administrator's Office will be indicated in the initial mailings.

4. Scott Dolphin with the BLRWPCA is available In order to assist home owners with these requests and to answer any questions. He can be reached at (860) 649-8066 x126.
