1. Phase II is proceeding with pump grinder installations. However, there are still 7 Phase II Grinder Pump Easement Agreements that need to be turned in. If you have not turned in a Grinder Pump Agreement and you live on or have a business located on Boston Turnpike (#666 - #1050), Howard Road, Quarry Road, or Vernon Road, it is important you contact the BLRWPCA as soon as possible if you have not already done so.
2. Phase III Grinder Pump Agreements have been sent to Boston Turnpike (#1055 - #1288), Cubles Drive, High Meadows Road, North Road, Sunset Lane, and Tolland Road. We appreciate those of you who have already submitted your agreement.
3. Phase IV design phase is comming to a close. We are still in need of 11 private well locations on the following roads in order to complete designs: Anchorage Road, Beachwood Road, Beverly Road, Colonial Road, Lynwood Road, Miller Road, and Plymouth Lane. If you still have not turned in the location of your private well, please contact BLRWPCA as soon as possible.
4. The State of Connecticut is requiring any home owner or business that has signed an easement agreement with BLRWPCA to complete a Real Estate Conveyance Tax Return. This needs to be completed in order to report to the state you received no payment for the agreement and therefore you do not owe any taxes to the state. The state does not allow for these forms to be downloaded and must be completed in person. These forms are available at the Town Clerk's office. Everyone with a grinder pump easement or road easement must complete this form. Since this is tax season, now is a good time to come in and complete this form.
5. In order to assist in the timely submission of these documents, the BLRWPCA has an individual available to assist you. Scott Dolphin is with the BLRWPCA administrative services and can be reached at the Bolton town hall at (860) 649-8066 x126. He will also be out in the neighborhoods over the upcoming weeks and some weekends assisting us in gathering these documents. His vehicle is a late model, maroon Chevrolet Impala and he will be available to answer questions and/or accept any documents you may have.
